Graphic California Cultural Data Project

Getting Started with the
Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project.

Since the project began in 2004, over 1,000 arts and cultural organizations have submitted their data to the Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project (Pennsylvania CDP). This project is the most ambitious and comprehensive effort ever to gather and analyze information about the contributions of the cultural sector to Pennsylvania’s economy and quality of life.

If you are new to the Project or new to your organization, this important session will show you and your staff how to enter data into the PACDP and use its powerful features.

Cultural Data Project

The CDP is a standardized online system for collecting historical financial and programmatic information. The Project is a state-wide collaborative effort of public and private funders. Arts and cultural organizations fill out the CDP once each year and then use the data as part of their grant applications to all participating funders throughout the state.
